Voluntary Prekindergarten (VPK) is a free, state-funded program designed to prepare all Florida children for kindergarten by introducing foundational learning skills. To be eligible for VPK, children must:

• Live in Florida

• Be 4 years old on or before September 1 of the current school year.

VPK helps children build the academic foundation they need for educational success, introducing key subjects and learning skills that will set them up for success in kindergarten and beyond.

How to Apply:

Parents can apply online at https://familyservices.floridaearlylearning.com/. You'll need to submit:

• A copy of your child’s birth certificate

• Proof of residency (such as a utility bill or lease agreement)
